Shipping policy
UK Delivery
We dispatch most of our UK orders via Royal Mail. In some instances, we may use alternative couriers. We currently use the following delivery options:
- 1. Express (delivery aim of 1-3 working days)
- 2. Standard (delivery aim of 2-5 working days)
- 3. Special (Guaranteed) (next working day once dispatched)
You are notified of the delivery cost at Checkout, prior to submitting your order. All delivery costs are inclusive of processing and packaging costs. Please allow up to 2 working days for your order dispatched and longer during busy periods.
T&Cs
- Orders sent via Express and Standard delivery are protected up to £150 for loss or damage whilst orders sent via Special Delivery are protected up to £750 for loss or damage
- In the unlikely event that your order is lost or damaged, any compensation claim must be made to the courier. We cannot be held responsible for unpaid compensation or the inability to recover lost or damaged items.
- If you have benefitted from a "Free Delivery" promotion, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of delivery and any associated processing and packaging costs we have incurred before issuing a refund.
International Delivery
- We offer worldwide delivery to many countries outside of the UK via Royal Mail. You will be notified of the delivery cost at checkout prior to submitting your order. If you cannot find your destination country at checkout, please get in touch via email: info@houseofthobes.co.uk
- We may not be able to ship certain products such as fragrances to your country. Please get in touch via email prior to purchasing any types of fragrances.
T&Cs
- Usually most orders do not incur any additional taxes or charges. However, we cannot be held responsible if the courier (or destination government) decides to impose any additional taxes or charges on your order.
- International orders are protected up to the cost of £50 for loss or damage unless stated otherwise. In the unlikely event that an order is lost or damaged, this compensation must be claimed from the courier. We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items.
- If you refuse to a pay customs charge and the order is returned to us, we reserve the right reject the return and issue no refund.
- It is your responsibility as the customer to find out if certain products are allowed to be sent to your country.
- If you are benefitting from a "FREE DELIVERY" promotion, your order will be sent via the cheapest possible option and so may not be protected for compensation for the full amount of your order.
