House of Thobes began humbly in a small terraced house in the heart of Birmingham. Coincidentally, our journey started during the global Covid-19 pandemic, a time when many high-street thobe shops were forced to close, and online options were almost non-existent.
While retail stores shut their doors and competitors struggled with little to no online presence, House of Thobes flourished. Our commitment to delivering premium quality thobes at affordable prices quickly set us apart. In the early days, every order came through Instagram, with most of our customers based in Birmingham. But as word spread, requests began pouring in from other cities, and soon, even from overseas.
To keep up with the growing demand, we launched our own website, marking a new chapter in our journey. Since then, we haven’t looked back. Year after year, House of Thobes has reached new heights, expanding our customer base internationally, moving into professional office spaces, and enhancing both our product range and customer experience.
